Flame spray coatings
High combustion spray coating
At Hannecard, we are pleased to offer flame spray coatings, a specialized thermal spray process designed to provide durable, protective layers for rollers and various industrial components. This technology enhances wear resistance, corrosion protection, and is often used to rebuild components. While similar to other thermal spray methods, the combustion spray technology stands out for its versatility and cost-effectiveness, providing industries that demand both performance and value with an efficient solution.
What is flame spray coating?
Flame spray coating, also referred to as combustion spraying, involves combusting a fuel gas (typically acetylene or propane) with oxygen to generate a high-temperature flame. A coating material, which can be powder or wire (metals, alloys, or ceramics), is fed into this flame. The material is heated and propelled onto the surface of a roller or a part, forming a dense and well-adhered coating. This coating process enhances the durability of the underlying part, protecting it from wear, corrosion, or heat.
