A Rolling Milestone: celebrating 25 years of success!
We’re thrilled to congratulate our colleagues at H&M South Africa on their 25th anniversary! For a quarter of a century, they’ve been on a roll !
Just like our roller coatings, they’ve applied their expertise with precision, consistently delivering quality that keeps Hannecard and the rolls turning smoothly. Here’s to 25 years of rolling out excellence—and many more years to come!
Keep the momentum going, and let’s continue rolling towards even greater success together!
H&M is a joint venture between Hannecard, Mitex, and Henri Slabbert, the local CEO.
As the leading roller company in sub-Saharan Africa, H&M has locations in Pietermaritzburg (Durban region), Vereeniging (Johannesburg region), and Cape Town. Additionally, H&M holds shares in roller companies such as Ombi Rubber Rollers Ltd – The Better Roll Covers (ombirollers.com) in Kenya and Tanzania, and AFS Roll Covers in Zimbabwe.
H&M is capable of handling all types of rollers in the market, including industrial rollers and those for the paper industry. The company has its own mixing department. A standout product is the “Clupack belt,” which is exported globally for the production of “expansible paper.” A Clupack belt can weigh up to 3 tons.
The roller coatingss can be made from rubber, PU (ribbonflow & hotcast), silicones, composites, and thermal spray. H&M also has extensive knowledge of mechanical design and manufactures new rollers, primarily for the steel industry.
A subsidiary of H&M is H&M Lining, originally Parm Garay (Group – Parm Garay Africa). H&M Lining specializes in rubber lining, identical to the activities of the BeuginGaray group.
